Alas, we only had a day in Berlin. Our hostel was depressing so we hot-footed out of there and walked and walked and walked through the city.
We came across remnant of 'the' wall, now painted regularly by local artists.

We walked through the red light district and had late lunch (sausages, of course), through the shopping district and past the infamous Checkpoint Charlie where many an East German tried escape the GDR.
Our last night we ate local grub with good, oversized beer. To be honest, we really weren't prepared for Berlin; we weren't sure what we were looking for or where things were. We'll have to visit again.
We're now in Prague, getting our boho on. Speak soon.
